9/9/09 - How to remove Boingo, the devil host from your computer:
If you have not noticed Boingo Wireless does not provide anyway whatsoever to revome their lousy host devil software that's haunting your computer. The devil software will continue to haunt you even after you canceled the service. We have the magic portion here at ihateboingo.com that will allow you to remove Devil Boingo.

For Apple Mac Computers

First you must stop Boingo devil host from running otherwise it will continue running non stop.
1. Click on Finder , then click on Applications, then click on Utilities. Locate the GoBoingo in the Utilities, right click on it and select exit. That will prevent the Boingo devil host from running.

Now locate the GoBoingo icon from your applications and drag it into the trash / recycle bin.
2. To do this click on Finder, under Finder click on Applications. Locate the GoBoingo icon in the applications folder, click on it and drag it to the trach can.

The next step is to delete the devil host completely
3. Go to Finder, click on home / user / HD, then click on library, then application support. Locate the file com.Boingo.GoBoingo.plist and delete it by dragging it to the trash. If you encounter any problems, let us know in the Forum and we will help you remove the devil from your computer.

For Windows Operating System

If you still have not noticed Boingo devil haunts your computer, it's always running in the background even when you don't see it. To remove the devil from your computer, you must use the magic portion below.
1. Look at your system tray and find the Boingo icon, right click on it and select exit.

Now that you stop Boingo from running, you must take the proper step to remove it.
2. Click on Start, then go to Control Panel, double click on Add/Remove, locate the Boingo program and click on remove to uninstall.

7/13/09 I found a number of complaints on Cnet Review against Boingo. The international community have also been victimized by Boingo, for this reason I added the translation tool on the homepage. This will alow them to translate any page or the entire website in their own language. The forum will be updated soon to include a number of categories.

7/12/09 Boingo Wireless tops the chart in most complaints received by the LA Better Business Bureau for an ISP. The LA BBB gives Boingo an F. They have received a total of 65 complaints within a three year period. Click HERE to file a complaint with the BBB.
